Getting to Know: Nikola Kostic

Nikola Kostic | www.mumora.com

Nikola Kostic is one of the best talents to come out of Bali in some time. Influenced by both European and Balinese mindsets, Nikola is a man of merging cultures.

Also a musician and lover of all kinds of art, Nikola also drew our attention because he has managed to turn his artwork into his full time living.

Gone are the days of 10 years ago when he was living on the beach off of $200 a month. Nikola is emerging as a photographer of international talent and has been featured in some of the premiere photography magazines such as National Geographic.

Touran and I discovered Nikola’s photography during our travels in Southeast Asia and were amazed at the depth and breadth of his work – locations spanning everywhere from Indonesia to Nepal to Papua New Guinea.

We knew right away that photography of this quality and passion can’t be accessible solely to those fortunate enough to travel to the island of Bali. Now for the first time ever you can find Nikola’s artwork online, ready to express ship to your doorstep.

The cornerstone of Nikola’s work is cultures in transition.

You’ve gotta be insane to think you’ll make a dollar off of photography. You gotta be insane to think that.
